Today, dental implants are used as the best and most permanent replacement for missing teeth.
The implant is usually made of titanium, which is completely compatible with the human body and the body does not give back to its modification.
The main stages of the implant in summary include the following:
The dentist first places a narrow rod (fixture) inside the jaw bone.
Note that after placing the titanium rod inside the jaw, it takes 3 to 4 months for the jawbone to fuse to the base of the implant and adapt to it.
_ After the jaw bone is welded to the fixture, a piece called abutment is placed on the fixture, which performs the work of the shaved tooth to install the implant cover.
_ In the final stage, the molded tooth crown or cover is placed on the abutment and fixed using a special glue.
